ACORN FAQs and How-to guides

Students access ROSI (Repository of Student Information) via the ACORN interface.  ACORN enables students to:

  • Update contact information (email address, phone numbers, mailing address)
  • Access financial information (check student account, obtain invoices for tuition and fee payments, download tax slips)
  • Access academic information and activities (enrol in or drop courses, view timetables, view grades and academic history, order transcripts)
  • Graduation preparation (request to graduate, RSVP for convocation ceremony, request convocation tickets for guests, check name as it will appear on student’s diploma)


Quercus (a.k.a. Canvas) is U of T’s online teaching and learning system.  All MHSc courses utilize Quercus to communicate with students and for posting course-related materials, such as:

  • Syllabi
  • Readings, Powerpoint presentations, links to other materials
  • Announcements
  • Assignment instructions and submissions
  • Quizzes, Readiness Assessment Tests
  • Grades for course work
