Research Interest

health policy analysis, program and policy evaluation, applied quantitative methods, health services delivery, health economics, access to mental health and addictions services, and primary health care reform.

In the past 10 years, I have worked with colleagues in academic and decision-making settings to conduct and apply evidence-informed health policy research. I use my policy experience to inform my research activities, which cover a wide range of health policy and health services issues. My recent work has focused on the effects of payment incentives on physician behaviour, primary health care reform, the supply of psychiatric services, and the impact of polypharmacy on senior’s health.
