As an experienced executive and mentor, Wendy is founder and IHPME Project Lead for Vernissage Health – a leadership development initiative for IHPME students in all programs that helps emerging leaders connect in dialogue to develop the skills and insights to succeed in leading change and transformation in the Canadian health system.

Bringing deep practical leadership experience to IHPME, Wendy has served as a senior executive in a broad range of settings in the private and public sectors where she has spearheaded “first of a kind” service delivery systems that stand the test of time – a national Rx database and national platform for medication adherence programs in retail pharmacy; regional programs in stroke, advanced cardiac and specialty geriatric services; ground floor development of Health Links and Family Health Teams as well as development of two freestanding ambulatory care centres.

Wendy has served as President of the IHPME Society of Graduates and was the recipient of the President’s Achievement Award for her work leading change.
